Diaper Bassinet

The days of the diaper cake are OVER.
Seriously.
Ok, fine - diaper cakes are adorable, but I'd say it's about time they got a little revamp, don't you?

Or is it possible that this could turn into one of those things? . . . like . . . you know. Those things. Like when you go on a cruise and your maid makes your towel into a different animal every. day. And it's so cute. but it could get old quick. I don't know. I still think this is adorable and it has the potential to be even more adorable-er. Ü

I was searching for something new and exciting. I'm in a rather blah mood, so it seemed like everything I saw was either ugly, not very innovative, or seriously. {seriously meaning 'Like, seriously? My dog can do that.' Oh my gosh, I'm such a brat. and I'm rambling. sorry.}

I found this while blog surfing today.  {I know, right - me? blog surf? I haven't done that in ages! Which is probably why this place has been a barren wasteland of nothingness. I sincerely apologize. I'll try and do better.}

I'm not sure that I've ever seen a wreath in the store's that I would want to hang on my front door . . . I think it maybe happened once - last Christmas at Robert's - it was $40!! When i went back closer to Christmas to see if it was on sale, they were all gone.

oh well.

Alice in Wonderland

Pure honesty - i have never seen the whole thing of the animated alice in wonderland. Growing up, we had the non-animated version and it more or less scared me to death (dragons and such . . . i can't even remember. it's like the wizard of oz - still can't sit through it) anyways - i really really want to see the new one! and in light of that fact, i'm seeing alice in wonderland stuff pop up all over the place and these party ideas are adorable and amazing!! i have a secret wish to throw a tea party one of these days (we'll see if i ever get around to it) and i'm loving these ideas Ü i love the mix and match decor - vintage and contempary, and all the eat me/drink me things {i nearly smacked myself in the forehead and said 'why didn't i think of that?!' but then i remembered that alice in wonderland scared the crap out of me. oh yeah} anyways - so freaking cute!
